Felipe Affonso
Co-Founder and Partner
Felipe has over 11 years of experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital. Before founding Cloud9, Felipe was a Director at SoftBank Latin America Fund and an early employee of their São Paulo office, participating in transactions within healthtech, SaaS and wealth management industries
Prior to Softbank, Felipe was a Vice President at GIC with experience leading technology, education, healthcare and consumer deals at the São Paulo, New York and Singapore offices. Felipe started his career as part of the Private Equity team of GP Investimentos
He holds a BA in Economics from Insper

Noah Stern
Noah has over 8 years of experience in Finance. Before founding Cloud9, Noah was a Vice President at Softbank Latin America Fund and an early employee of the São Paulo office, where she was involved in several transactions within real estate, logistics, and wealth management sectors
Before Softbank, Noah was an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs NY focused on Tech, Media and Telecom with involvement in software and marketplace deals. Noah also spent 5 years in the Goldman Sachs São Paulo office where she also participated in technology transactions.
She holds a BA in Business Administration from FGV
Rafael Serson
Vice President
Rafael has over 5 years of experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital
Before joining Cloud9, Rafael was an Associate at Kinea Private Equity, where he had a key role and involvement in all of Kinea’s technology deals, with a strong track record and experience within the SaaS and EdTech sectors
He holds a BA in Economics from Insper and was a visiting student at Columbia University

Guilherme is a trainee at Cloud9 Capital since August of 2021 and an Economics student at FEA-USP
He was Director of the University’s Financial Club and member of the Turing Group (AI-study group)
